Well the rest of my garden may be leaving something to be desired but my basil plants are marvelous! I friend of ours just loaned us a small food processor so this afternoon I decided to try my hand at pesto sauce. A couple good handfuls of basil leaves, some olive oil, garlic, pine nuts and parmasan cheese and WOW! Think I'll throw some tomatoes and mushrooms on the grill tonight and toss them with some pasta in the pesto sauce for dinner. Hmmm...maybe a little chicken or salmon to go along with it. (Okay, gotta quit talking about it, otherwise it will wind up as and afternoon "snack" instead of dinner
