Today I finished painting the sunroom. Getting a new project started and finished so quickly has inspired me. I can't wait to start the kitchen and finish the office!

So I guess it goes without saying that my New Year's Resolution is to get back on track with working on my house. So far I have been much more effective in the resolution to get to the gym than working on the house...but today that began to change.

Apparently I have created a monster. L loved the new paint color (and probably the fact that he didn't get dragged to the paint store to pick out colors) so much I have been charged not only with getting more paint for the dining room but the sunroom and living room as well. He wantes to have all 3 rooms done by the end of the weekend. I knew getting one project done would balloon and take longer than anticipated! (I was hoping to be done today...that ain't gonna happen now) Oh well, this will be the first home improvement project that L will be helping with so I can't really complain.
