I can only imagine what life would have been like when this house was built in 1929. I know it was a simpler time and people enjoyed simpler things. Things like talking to your neighbor over your back fence as you hang laundry out to dry. Or sitting on the front porch enjoying tea and lemonade, watching the neighborhood kids play tag up and down all the front yards on the street. Things that we never seem to have time for in 2005...but I've discovered we should.
I am slowly getting back to work. Soy-gel is great...but it is messy, so I am still working on cleaning up the trim-work.
Yesterday I cleaned out the office of all the "clutter" that seemed to accumulate while I was working and get a designated work space set up in the garage. I almost set it up in the basement instead but this way Whohead can play outside while I'm working. It just means that L has to park his car in the driveway.
I went to city hall today to get dog licenses for the golf dogs and figured as long as I was there I would take a look at the file the city keeps on our property.
