I admit I am a Pottery Barn junkie! I love the furniture. I love the "organizational" stuff and I love the tchotchkes. I don't love the prices. Don't get me wrong...I don't mind paying for quality furniture but when you are trying to restore a house your furnishing budget tends to be "shoestring". So I love getting the catalog to "dream" but rarely do more than that.

So you know that we are in the process of interviewing contractors to help us finish our basement. Here's a little more information about what we are starting with and what we hope to end up with.
